We are Lorena and Gutierre, partners in life, on the road, and over a glass.

Sede de Mundo was born from our desire to share authentic experiences, discoveries along the way, and of course, our passion for beer culture. More than just a beer blog, it’s an invitation for those who are thirsty to explore the world — and who want to do it while toasting with flavor and purpose.

How it all began

We’ve been living in Europe for over six years. We spent a good amount of time in Portugal, where we fell in love with the local wines, history, and culture. Today, we live in Belgium — the true heart of craft beer. Here, we’ve immersed ourselves in the world of Trappist brews (something we were already passionate about back in Brazil), but now we get to visit breweries, discover historic bars, and collect stories that don’t fit on just one bar table — which is why we decided to share them.

We’ve traveled through more than 10 countries, and wherever we are, we strive to live like locals: exploring less obvious streets, tasting flavors that surprise us, and listening to the stories you won’t find in guidebooks. We love culture, gastronomy, and believe that every sip tells a lot about a place.
